Hello - I am Randy Hintz, FTC Coach and creator of RoboNotebook.com.
My son and I have been involved with FTC for five seasons now - we started with Velocity Vortex. We joined an established team - 7039 Lord of the Bricks and stayed with them for 3 seasons. We loved our time with the Bricks, but after 3 years the 40 minute drive to meetings was wearing thin. In March of 2019 we decided to start our own team in rural New Kent, VA (see newkentrobotics.org) 16537 LOGICoyote
During our last year with Lord of the Bricks we met with a few teams to talk about notebook methodology - most notably 4634 FROGbots. We did a lot of brainstorming, and during 16537 LOGICoyote's rookie season, 2019-2020, we used an online notebook system that was kept on the newkentrobotics.org website.
Before that season ended - the entire world shut down due to COVID. I used this time to take what was started and create RoboNotebook.com - the first trick was of course adding in multi-team support. About 20 teams signed up to help beta test during July and August - and gave me more feedback and ideas than I could possibly incorporate for 2020-2021...and here we are.
Other than robotics, I love music (playing piano and singing praise and worship songs) and I love Minnesota Vikings football.

Hello Randy. Met you during our FTC TAC Meeting last week. This RoboNotebook site looks like something that may help our team. We will start using it tomorrow and see how it goes.
